The 2023 Kia Forte has five different trim levels. These start with the LX, move on to the LXS, GT-Line, and GT, and end with the GT manual.

LX
The Forte’s base trim level comes standard with a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine. This Kia produces up to 147 horsepower and 132 lb.-ft of torque. It comes with a 4.2-inch instrument display for tracking the car’s stats. The exterior is outfitted with 15-inch steel wheels with full covers. The standard infotainment system includes an eight-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and Bluetooth with hands-free connectivity.
Kia has equipped the base trim level with automatic headlight control with high beam assist. It also includes a rearview monitor with parking guidance technology, automatic emergency braking technology, and a rear occupant alert. Additional safety assist features include a lane following assist and lane keeping assist, as well as a driver attention warning.
LXS
This trim level has 60/40 split folding rear seats to add more cargo volume to the inside of this car. It also adds 16-inch alloy wheels.
GT-Line
This trim level makes a lot of changes to the Forte, including unique body styling, 17-inch alloy wheels, and LED daytime running lights. It also adds fog lights for improved sight lines in poor weather. The infotainment system gets a major upgrade with a 10.25-inch touchscreen with navigation. It also adds a six-speaker audio system.
Inside, drivers will love the leather-wrapped flat-bottom steering wheel and dual-zone automatic climate control. The seating becomes sport seats with SynTex and cloth seat trim. This trim level adds a safe exit warning to its safety assist features. Additionally, there is a rear cross-traffic collision avoidance assist and a blind spot detection technology feature.
GT
The car gets an upgrade to a 1.6-liter 4-cylinder turbocharged engine with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission with paddle shifters. This trim level also has sport-turned multi-link rear suspension for improved handling. This achieves a maximum of 201 horsepower and 195 lb.-ft of torque. The exterior of this trim level also adds 18-inch alloy wheels and LED headlights.
GT Manual
This final trim level has the same engine but pairs it with a six-speed manual transmission. It also gets a sport-turned dual exhaust. This trim level adds a sunroof as standard and heated front seats. The interior also gets a red stitching accent added to the seats for a touch of sporty style.
