As the entry model, the EX AWD sets a solid base for the 2025 Sorento’s PHEV lineup. This trim comes with the same powertrain as the upper model, pairing a 1.6L turbocharged 4-cylinder engine with a full-parallel hybrid system. The setup provides a combined output of 261 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. Torque-vectoring all-wheel drive with a center-locking differential provides exceptional vehicle stability on and off the road.

In addition to power, this trim is well-equipped for adventures with LED exterior lights, including LED fog lights, that provide outstanding illumination in all driving conditions. The SX Prestige AWD comes with a wealth of premium upgrades, including enhanced comfort thanks to the 14-way power-adjustable driver’s seat with four lumbar support settings and two-way power thigh extension. A 10-way power-adjustable seat is standard for the copilot, and both front seats are also heated and ventilated.
Second-row riders also get heated seats, while a heated steering wheel can keep your hands warm in cold weather. A panoramic sunroof brings more brightness inside the cabin, and genuine leather upholstery takes luxury up a notch.
