1. Efficient and Exciting Powertrain Choices
The EV9 makes electric efficiency exciting with its quick charging times, long ranges, and powerful performance options. The entry-level Light RWD has a 76.1 kWh lithium-ion battery that provides 230 miles of range and recharges from 10 to 100 percent in approximately 6 hours and 45 minutes with a Level 2 charger. Other trim levels have a 99.8 kWh battery. Every EV9 is compatible with DC 350 kW fast chargers, so you can recharge from 10 to 80 percent on-the-go quickly.
2. Highway Driving Assist 2
With the EV9, you’ll get a long list of driver assistance features that help enhance your safety and convenience, including Highway Driving Assist 2. This technology uses sensors and navigation data to control your speed and steering on compatible highways, helping keep you centered in your lane and at a safe distance from the vehicle ahead.
3. Passenger Talk
With three spacious rows of seating inside, it can be a challenge for the driver to communicate with passengers in the third row. The EV9 solves this problem with its standard Passenger Talk feature, which uses the speaker audio system to project the driver’s voice for rear passengers to hear clearly.
4. Three Rows of Premium Seating
Inside the EV9 cabin, you can seat seven passengers with a second-row bench seat or six passengers with second-row captain’s chairs, depending on the trim level you choose. Either way, third-row passengers can enter and exit easily, thanks to the EV9 and its one-touch sliding and folding second-row seats. The premium interior includes standard SynTex seat trim and LED lighting, plus heated and ventilated front seats. You can also customize the temperature inside with tri-zone auto climate control.
5. Smart Power Liftgate
When it comes to the EV9 and its storage options, there’s plenty of storage and it’s also easily accessible. The standard Smart Power Liftgate opens hands-free when you stand behind it with your Smart Key. Inside, 20.2 cubic feet of cargo space expands to 81.7 cubic feet when you fold the rear seats. There’s even a front trunk with up to 3.2 cubic feet of hidden storage for the Light RWD and Light Long Range RWD trims.
