2024 Kia Forte Engine Specifications
The first powertrain option is a 2.0L inline four-cylinder engine, which provides 147 horsepower and 132 lb-ft of torque. This engine has a multi-point injection fuel delivery system, which enhances the fuel economy of the powertrain, and an intelligent variable transmission to glide smoothly through traffic. This powertrain is the standard option for the LX, LXS, and GT-Line models.
The second powertrain option is a lightweight turbocharged 1.6L inline four-cylinder engine that generates 201 horsepower and 195 lb-ft of torque. This engine is built for speed with a sport-tuned exhaust. The GT model has a zippy seven-speed automatic transmission with convenient steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters, while the GT Manual has a six-speed manual transmission.
Drive Mode Select
All 2024 Forte models come with selectable drive modes so you can toggle the powertrain performance settings to match your driving conditions. The three driving modes are Sport, Smart, and Normal. The Smart driving mode allows your Forte to automatically adjust the powertrain and transmission to your driving style to optimize your vehicle performance.
Fuel Economy
