Kia's mid-size SUV, the Telluride, debuts several new features for the 2023 model year. Read on to learn about the trim levels and the new X-Line and X-Pro packages available for the 2023 Kia Telluride. Basics About the 2023 Kia Telluride The Telluride is Kia's mid-size SUV. All 2023 Telluride models are outfitted with a 3.8-liter V-6 gasoline engine that makes 291 horsepower and 262 pound-feet of torque, paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission. All Telluride models also have three rows of seating, with a capacity of either 7 or 8 passengers depending on trim level. All safety features are standard on all trim levels, but driver assistance features are available as upgrades on higher trim levels. more Trim Levels LX The Telluride's most budget-friendly trim level, the LX comes standard with front-wheel drive (FWD), LED exterior lights, a 12.3-inch infotainment screen, 18-inch silver alloy wheels, and Drive Mode Select that allows you to choose either Comfort, Eco, Sport, or Smart mode. All-wheel drive (AWD) and a tow hitch are available as upgrades. Second-row seating is slide-and-fold, giving the LX Telluride a seating capacity of 8. S The S trim level improves upon the LX trim by adding roof rails, 20-inch black alloy wheels, and second-row captain's chairs for a seating capacity of 7. AWD is an available option. EX The EX trim level features even more upgrades as standard features, including a power liftgate and power external mirrors. The EX has the same 20-inch wheels as the S trim level but comes standard with slide-and-fold second-row seating, with second-row captain's chairs available. AWD is an available option, as is a self-leveling rear suspension. SX Further improving on the EX, the SX trim level comes standard with dual sunroofs, a Harmon Kardon 10-speaker premium sound system, second-row captain's chairs, and all of Kia's Drive Wise driver assistance options. Optional upgrades include AWD and a self-leveling rear suspension. SXP At the highest trim level, the SXP AWD comes standard, along with premium Napa leather seat trim and a full-display digital rearview mirror. X-Line and X-Pro X-Line and X-Pro are off-road trim packages. X-Line is available on the EX, SX, and SXP trim levels, and X-Pro is available on SX and SXP trim levels. All X-Line Telluride models come standard with AWD, tow mode, self-leveling rear suspension, exterior design elements, a 0.4-inch suspension lift, and exclusive 20-inch alloy wheels. X-Pro Telluride models come standard with all the features of the X-Line except the wheels; X-Pro Telluride models are equipped with exclusive 18-inch alloy wheels and all-terrain tires. X-Pro vehicles also have a 5,500-pound towing capacity, higher than the 5,000-pound capacity of all non-X-Pro Telluride models.
